All Malbrook contracts, whether for a Conservatory, Orangery, Kitchen, Staircase, Window, or Door, are unique. As bespoke joiners and installers, we craft everything by hand to your specific requirements, without using standard sizes or pre-built modules.

Site Visit

During the initial visit, our designer will listen to your requirements and offer suggestions based on your ideas and our years of design experience. We will prepare detailed drawings, a quotation, and a pencil or watercolour sketch of the proposed design. We offer both contemporary and traditional designs. If you already have sketches or architect drawings, we can provide a quotation based on those and offer additional suggestions if desired. Once the design is agreed and the contract signed, one of our qualified surveyors will prepare final drawings and confirm all finer details with you.

Interior Finishes

The interior finishes for your Conservatory, Orangery, or other project are key considerations. Prior to installation, we can advise on underfloor heating, floor and wall finishes, lighting, blinds, and furniture, working closely with our trusted builders to ensure a cohesive result.

Manufacture and Installation

All our contracts are handmade in our custom-built factory by skilled craftsmen using time-tested methods, enhanced by modern techniques where beneficial. Site installation is carried out by our highly experienced in-house fixing teams, who specialize in all forms of joinery.

Timber / Wood

The timber for your Conservatory, Orangery, or other project is selected by Malbrook from the highest quality hardwood, chosen for its suitability. Options include stained or painted finishes, or Green Oak for a distinctive look. Learn more about our timber options.

Glass / Glazing

We typically use Argon-filled double-glazed units for our Conservatories, Orangery, and Roof Lanterns. For restoration projects, such as Victorian greenhouses, single glazing may be specified to meet historical requirements. Learn more about our glazing options.

Paint / Stain Colors

Your choice of color is entirely customizable. Malbrook can provide paint or stain samples, match unique colors, and even apply different colors to interior and exterior timber if desired. Learn more about painting and finishing.

Rainwater Goods

We use cast or extruded aluminum or Marley Classic guttering. Aluminum guttering can be powder-coated to match your Conservatory or Orangery. For conservation areas or listed heritage buildings, we offer traditional materials like cast iron. Exterior aluminum roof caps can also be powder-coated to your chosen color. Door and Window Fittings

Ironmongery is chosen to complement your Conservatory, Orangery, or Glazed Extension and the adjacent spaces. Standard options include brass, polished chrome, or satin chrome, but stainless steel or custom fittings are available, provided they meet British Standards and insurance requirements.
